Everything in Judaism is elevated through adherence to the halachas even about the smallest activities we're involved in. Sleep on Tisha B'Av is a prime example. The Ramah in Siman Tav Kuf Nun Hey, Sif Bet brings that one should cause some degree of distress in one's sleep the night of Tisha B'Av. If one normally sleeps with two pillows, only sleep with one. Then the Ramah says that some people put a stone under their head as a zecher to stone under their head as a zecher to what it says, "Vayikach Me'avnei Hamakom." Yaakov Avinu took from the stones of the place and Chazal say, "Shara Hachurban." He saw the Churban. So because Yaakov Avinu saw [snorts] the Churban at the time there was a stone under his head, we too, the night of the Churban, we put a stone under our head. Well, my dear uh friends, I'm going to share with you and show you a very special item. You see this stone?
