We're not talking about guarding your soul. We're talking about guarding your body. >> [snorts] >> We're talking about not endangering yourself. So, it should say it should say "V'nishmartem me'od l'gufchem". Why does it say "V'nishmartem me'od l'nafshoteichem"? Says the Hafetz Chaim, also it says elsewhere "Be careful, guard yourself very much". It's called guarding your soul. Why doesn't it say "V'nishmartem me'od" "l'atzmoteichem" or "l'atzmochem"?
