discussing today the laws of chuva right of course khodesh elul we are approaching uh you know rosh hashanah yam kippur the yama narayam and one of the great themes of this time period is chuva there are many reasons many reasons for this um we're ending the year we're approaching the end of the year and there's a saying in the gemara rabbis tell us that everything really is going to ultimately be measured by the way you finish up the way you close finish up the way you close practically speaking it's very very helpful for us because not everybody can be consistent 12 months straight no mistakes mr perfect i mean there are some mr perfects out there and makes us feel you know a little bit uh inadequate sometimes but i think those mr perfects that hashem put in the world are not here to break us they're here to ultimately inspire us is a there's actually we'll get back to what i'm saying now but there's a saying in the gemara that says that uh you know we could all sort of speak we all have a part of moshe in us we all have an part of moshe in us we all have an aspect of moshe in us so you'll ask we're all supposed to become the next leader of the jewish people we'll have no people to leave we'll all be leaders so the obviously the obvious application to such an idea is not that we all become more simple in the actual sense that we're all going to be leaders we all have within us the opportunity and the ability to fulfill our potential and if we fulfill our potential then we have brought out that that monsterabenu within how much robano fulfill this potential we can also fill our potential there's a famous story uh by rav zucha
