Okay, good morning everyone. Shalom aleichem. Baruchim haba'im. We're continuing in Hilchos Pesach. So, here's a little intro. We know the Gemara says in Maseches Megillah vav, sho'alin v'dorashin b'hilchos haPesach kodem l'Pesach shloshim yom. Why? Why 30 days? Where does this come from? Who decided 30 days? Why do Why does it take so long? By the way, the Beis Yosef gives three answers. Beis Yosef says not necessarily that it takes 30 days. It's just for that 30-day period, if someone asks a question about Hilchos Pesach, we'll deem it that he's asking a relevant question. Not that it literally takes 30 days to learn Hilchos Pesach. Number two, the Beis Yosef says there are a lot of halachos. And number three, because of carbon, because of carbonais. That you need to get a good sheep, and you have to make sure that your sheep is not a mum, doesn't have a mum in it. And it could take time to to search out and investigate and find a sheep. I have a cousin in Eretz Yisrael who uh noticed that the Israeli government ear tags all the sheep. Now, if you ear tag the sheep, it's a mum. So, he went to Rav Chaim Kanievsky, and he got Rav Chaim Kanievsky to endorse his movement that the Israeli government should not ear tag sheep for 30 days before Pesach, because if Mashiach comes, we're not going to have sheep to be makriv the korban Pesach. And Rav Chaim endorsed it.
