0:00 There are individuals in the generations of the Jewish people, in the generations that the Holy One, blessed be He... who say [unclear] in every single generation, that the Holy One, blessed be He, gives tzaddikim who can overcome the Holy One, blessed be He. Who was that? Moshe Rabbeinu. What is the difference between Moshe and Noach? What does Rashi say about Noach? "A righteous man, perfect in his generations." What is the meaning of "in his generations"? He did not overcome the Holy One, blessed be He. A flood was about to come upon the world.

0:29 And he did not overcome the Holy One, blessed be He; he should have overcome the Holy One, blessed be He. So the Holy One, blessed be He, had already told him: No, now is not the time to praise Me, to pray... You are now grieving over the world that was destroyed, it is not the time. You need to know when to ask for My mercy; now it is not your time to ask for My mercy. It is already lost, what is done is done. "Leave Me, and I will destroy them." Moshe Rabbeinu immediately took hold of himself firmly and began to fall down and plead before the Holy One, blessed be He, that He should not abandon and not forsake the Jewish people.

1:02 So this is the meaning, "Do not abandon us," as it was in the days of Noach - "And do not forsake us" - this is Moshe Rabbeinu - because sometimes the Holy One, blessed be He, gives such tzaddikim who can overcome the Holy One, blessed be He, even though they are, so to speak, in their opinion, so to speak, against Hashem, so to speak... Like Moshe Rabbeinu, when the Holy One, blessed be He, says to Moshe, "Leave Me, and I will destroy them." And Moshe Rabbeinu, so to speak against Hashem, throws himself before the Holy One, blessed be He - what if Hashem says "Leave Me, and I will destroy them"? Then what Moshe Rabbeinu must do, immediately, what Hashem says is Hashem's will... So this is the meaning, "Do not forsake us."

1:35 "Do not forsake us," that He should send us such ones like Moshe - who can overcome Hashem, that even if the Holy One, blessed be He, decides to make some decree, some bad thing, He informs His servants the prophets, "For G-d does nothing unless He reveals His secret." And that wise man and that tzaddik knows what Hashem is about to do, which is so to speak against Hashem, that he is astonished how Hashem does this, and he knows how to subdue the other side, and this is the meaning of what we say, "Do not forsake us."

2:01 And this is the meaning of what we say, "Do not forsake us" - this is the meaning, that He will not forsake the Jewish people.
