We turn to the beginning of safer I'm just going to read a few Hebrew lines, translate them and we'll try to do this again. Promise every single day but I'll try as often as I can to post these little videos and we'll go in order. We're not going to learn the whole safer together but little snippets that I feel are particularly emblematic of the tsaddik's consciousness and his guidance and his mindset. Um and so we turn to literally this the second page in the safer. And the tsaddik here is making a very important point about the nature of Hashem. A lot of people make the misconception um and the mistake of thinking and have the misconception that serving God takes place in the shuls and serving God takes place in front of a Gemara. Serving Hashem takes place with a lulav in your hand and and and when you're lighting Hanukkah candles and then there's life and then there's the rest of life and then we have this facet of our personality and this aspect of our identity that we call Jewishness, that we call Yiddishkeit, Avodas Hashem but that takes place in a completely different realm. And here the tsaddik points out such a fundamental um nekudah that is crucial if we are to understand what it is that Hashem wants from us. And he says at the time that we're serving God we feel as the running of our soul toward her father, she must have got a soul called a Yoyin Alayla that we yearn for Hashem the whole day and the whole night. Ritsa, a sense of feeling like we're compelled running and melting and melting and melting
