What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Daniel Kalish’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

I wanted to share with the chevra it has to do with cursing. I I'm I spoke yesterday putting in the parsha. This is the parsha of the mekallel amongst other things in parshas Emor if somebody curses in parshas Emor and I wanted to speak about getting cursed. The parsha speaks about a curser and there's a whole sugia tifa sugia about a curser. I wanted to speak about getting cursed for a few minutes. There's a yid, there's a yid what I'm saying comes from Rav Shaul Alter. Rav Shaul Alter is what is was the Rosh is the Rosh Yeshiva of Ger and has started a new chassidus. This Rav Shaul Alter, this beautiful yid has started a new chassidus. And he's a remarkable human being. I've I've listened to some shiurim from him and I'm drawn to him a lot. Remarkable human being, a lichtiger He's one of the most relaxed people I've ever experienced in my life but deeply. Not relaxed super There are people that that pretend to be chill. He's one of the most calm yishuv people. Just when I hear him speak, incredibly meyushiv, calm cheerful and just a a precious precious tzaddik Rav Shaul Alter. He he very special yid. And I want to share something. I want to share something he said that's very that that's that's a life's value. It's hard to get to there simcha but I want to speak about it. People speak about chassidus. Like what is a chassid? Chassidus, what's a chassid? The shtreimel is the furthest thing from a chassid. If you know anything about chassidus, chitzoniyus is like the opposite of it. Externalities are the opposite city You could have the shtreimel, spodik, and you're not a Hasidah. It has nothing to do with the long payos, zero. People like that are maybe they're Hasidic, maybe not. It has no shiyachus.
