This is Yechiel Michel Dobrushkin. Dobrushkin. And uh he was originally he was born in Nikolaev. You may have heard of Nikolaev, that's actually where the Rebbe was born as well. Um in uh later after this uh the period that this letter is written in, he was a rav in Haifa in Israel. But at this juncture he's in Romania. Now uh Romania is an interesting place. Romania is an interesting place. Uh there's a long history of Jews in Romania. But let's just talk about modern history.
