Uh We are on page 570 574. 574. This is It's It's It's just interesting because people think that Vayikra with all the korbanos and stuff, people think that Vayikra is is you know, just very technical. But you see that there are so many life lessons here, you know, in Vayikra. So you know, the Torah is Torah is Torah. Now, it it in Now, it it in in page 574, talking about the cohein, you know, the cohein would A guy would come to the base hamikdash, the cohein would do the service. And then, if you look four lines from the top, it says "Veha kohein hamakriv olah zeh ish." The cohein who offered the olah offering 574, four lines from the top. "Or ha-olah asher hikriv la-kohein lo yihiyeh." The hide of the olah goes to the cohein. Now, here it's a little bit uh misleading. The text itself if if you uh misleading. The text itself if if you translate literally, cuz it sounds like the cohein who brings the offer he automatically gets the hide. And Rashi points out that it's not. It just means that the kohanim who are who are uh uh uh um in the state of being able to serve. There are certain kohanim are are disqualified. If a cohein is tamei, uh if a cohein is uh got some sort of physical physical disqualification, which is one of the things that the Sanhedrin did, is they would inspect the kohanim every day.
