this hour of the mechina schedule between two and three is uh basically a study of classic texts in jewish thought and we go through text uh one by one the most recent one that we did was orgot sirikim we finished and so i thought that um given people's interests who are normally here that we would do something a little more esoteric and the book i chose is toma devorah translated as the palm tree of devorah have either of you heard that book before i've heard of the term tomorrow dvorah toradora was written by um rav moshe cordovero who is referred to as the ramak rav moshe korevera the ramak and he was one of the great safari sages of tzfat of the golden era talking about the 15 1600s and he was a great tour scholar certainly in the revealed aspects of torah but also in the hidden aspects of the torah in the kabbalah and this book tomorrow is one of his works which actually fuses the teachings of kabbalah into musser so it's actually quite a unique book in that respect that um it's it's dealing with some of the higher ideas of kabbalah but addressed towards living those ideas in a practical way and the book basically has two parts the first one is designating two um going through the uh uh attributes of god based on the you know what we call the thirteen attributes of god the you give me those of rachel
