Frogs vs. Marble Walls - Rabbi Yehoshua Nissan

Rabbi Yehoshua Nissan

What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Yehoshua Nissan’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

[Music] i want to share with you an unbelievable thought from the dive shmuel of salonim he quotes the major measure says that with the makkah of the frogs zvardea how did the frogs get into the egyptian homes there were walls and the medusa even says that the walls were marble how did they get past that how did they manage to break through and the medra says that the frogs would hop up to the walls and then they would say to the wall to this wall of marble open up so that we can fulfill the wheel of hashem open up so that we can come in and do hashem's will his wrestling which is to invade the homes of the egyptians and when they said that these walls even if they were made these walls even if they were made of marble would open up crack open and let the frogs in and the diversion rule says that that is true with every one of us that we encounter obstacles be them obstacles within ourselves our personality our spirituality be them external to us those obstacles that do not let us proceed and get to our destination
