[Music] we are in the middle of a series called la chanera where we learning on one side the actual halachot of los angeles which i highly recommend to every individual has to learn if even if you're sending your husband to learn you have to learn too specifically everybody has to learn that because unfortunately we'll fail with that but also we're learning many different uh aspects of la shondara in the few last few classes we're learning what's called a vacla genera like the dust of lashona it's not really le genre but it's like genre last class we learned that when it's in public and many different uh things that we need to know because some of the things are not really shown about a lot of people says listen i don't want to say but you just said you don't want to say no and in many of the cases certain things we're just talking basic things and it might be leshonda as we learned in last class sometimes if you're sharing information that was already shared prior to you and is known publicly then it's not so i need to know all these different uh different aspects when it comes to la shawna today we're going to learn not something necessarily practically that i can apply in my life in regards to what to do or what not to do but rather to understand that because many people not necessarily will question the sources of but more the history of lashondara and not only that okay listen any person with a little common sense can understand that slandering gossip is not healthy it's not good the torah looks at it in a very severe way but nevertheless even if my intellect and my common sense
