okay boker tov we're continuing our study of the amidah going through the barracuda one by one we're up to the third baraka of the section of bakasha the section of request in total it's the sixth baracha of the amidah that revolves around forgiveness and once again we'll see that word repeating itself throughout this very short blessing forgive us our father for we have sinned pardon us means give us a pardon our king for we have transgressed for you are a good and forgiving god baruch hashem blessed are you who graciously and repeatedly forgives us hanun the gracious one who's marbella us hanun the gracious one who's marbella who repeatedly forgives so once again as we've seen in a very similar structure to the previous blessings you have the major theme of the of repeat it at least three times the word salah or that shoresh forgiveness is mentioned in the opening then we call hashem in el tov the salah a good and forgiving god and the is god is gracious and repeatedly forgives god is gracious and repeatedly forgives so the idea of silly ha forgiveness mentioned three times in our barakah is clearly the theme of this blessing now the first question we ask ourselves is how does this come off of the previous blessing this these three blessings that we started with in this section are all a unit together we started with knowledge we went over to tishuba which is repentance and we're closing this section with forgiveness with saliha
