all right we're in the middle of prague judges which as we've already explained is one long thread one long multi-stepped argument and it's very very easy to lose track of what's going on so i'm going to continue reminding you of the main point we started off at the beginning of we started off at the beginning of judges chapter 18 with the premise that we do want to achieve emotional alignment we do want to create some love and awe of hashem but the method that we were given in previous chapters of meditation may not be attainable at least not quickly attainable so we have another method for getting getting getting ourselves emotionally congruent with the behaviors to which we're committed and that method we introduced that method by saying it has something to do with something called ava misute it's hidden love a latent love that's already there so you don't have to create it you don't have to generate it from from scratch it's already there but you have to access it now how do you access it we didn't really say yet but we did point out to a phenomenon that in a time of god forbid um that in a time of god forbid um martyrdom even an irreligious jew historically speaking we have countless cases uh is is able to somehow achieve that intense motivation to remain committed to judaism even though they weren't able to do that during their entire lifetime and then last week in chapter 19 we we discussed a little bit more what that capacity is we said it's kokuma that it's pre-cognitive it's not
