Shalom Aleichem. Welcome to the weekly wrestling research parsha shear. This coming Shabbos is Ki Savo. And the parsha starts off Ki Savo el ha'aretz and you should take the first fruits. It's called the mitzvah of Bikkurim. Bikkurim is from the word bechor which means the first firstborn. Take the first fruits of your crops each year and bring it as an offering to the kohen in the temple. That's the mitzvah of Bikkurim. Part of the mitzvah is to thank Hashem for the bounty that you have. Person has to praise Hashem. It's called vidui to say that I know I came, I was a slave in Egypt, and I was freed by Hashem, and I was brought to the land, and therefore I'm bringing the first fruits. That's the idea. It says vi anisa vi amarta, you should call out and say you should be proud of it. Be proud that you're a Jew. Be proud that Hashem is watching over you. Right, there there's a lot of uh noise in the world today about Jews, anti-Semitism. Pro-Israel, anti-Israel, it's impossible to to absorb all the idiocies that are going on in the world. But we have to be proud that we're a Jew. Just think about it. There's over 8 billion people on the planet. 8 billion. 10% is 800 million. 1% is 80 million. The Jews are how much? 15 million? We're about point 03% 04% maybe. Look at all the effort of the world that's ganged up against Israel. It's amazing. Right? They shouldn't even be hearing of us. How many times have you heard about the Inuit Eskimos who live up in the Arctic Circle? They're small percentage. Right? Or how about the Indians who live in the Amazon basin in Brazil? You don't hear of this. Right? We're point 03 or point 04% of the population of the entire world
