okay good evening ladies and gentlemen thank you very much for joining us for this very special Memorial lecture in honor of a good friend of the community you know I never knew him but if you were at the funeral you see how many people were touched by this young man um just speaking to a few of the guys from the crowd before the class over the past two weeks I think everyone unanimous he said certain things about Eric that could portray what a good young man should aspire to be and the truth is everyone would talk about how he loved being around people but it's not just that he loved being around people people love being around him as well you know there's a lot of guys that like being around people no one wants to be around you he was a type that you just want to be around him he always smiled you know he knew how to put a smile in your face as well but more than that ladies and gentlemen you know from what I was told he was a man that appreciated life appreciated what he had cuz he had a tough time you know throughout his life from his upbringings Etc but whatever he did have he tried appreciating and one thing they were also telling me was about how he had a great respect for his Jewish identity for the Traditions even though really he wasn't surrounded by such a atmosphere and you know it was only a few days ago
