[Music] the first Mitzvah in the Torah is to be fruitful and to multiply we find this commandment twice in the beginning of the Torah once in the portion of barus chapter 1 verse number 28 and there it says and God tells them Adam and and God tells them Adam and Eve be fruitful and multiply and fill up the world and conquer the world similar we find in the portion of Noah chapter 9 verse number seven and there God says again you be fruit ful and multiply team in the land and multiply in the world so the question is why does the Torah repeat itself once in the portion of bis and then again after the flood in the portion of Noah number two when we compare these two verses we find that in the portion of barous in chapter number one the Torah uses the terminology conquer the world but yet terminology conquer the world but yet when it comes to the portion of Noah After the flood God omits this word and is not right V he does not write to conquer the world he simply says team on the earth and multiply interestingly the r in the SA Mitzvah number 212 according to many editions when he writes about the Mitzvah to be fruitful writes about the Mitzvah to be fruitful and to multiply he brings a proof from the portion of Noah where it says and you shall be fruitful and multiply so the chooses the second command that God gives to Noah after the blood rather than the command to Adam after creation why does that Dam choose the second over the
